...one reason I dislike hanging out with friends for long periods of time is that when I finally have to leave them, which I'd rather not do anyway, because usually those friends are sisters to me, I have to become attuned to my annoying-ass siblings again.
The first few minutes in the car, I tell my parents I've got a project due and crap and my dad unnecessarily threatens that he'll be very angry with me if I don't. I really wanted to just spit out, "I know, I'll freaking get it done, for God's sakes. I'm not gonna slack off again." But I bit my tongue and stayed quiet for the rest of the ride and then he wondered why I was being quiet...
